Purpose
Young Men + Summit is a free leadership program serving young men in grades 9-12, specifically first-generation, low-income, and multicultural populations in the greater Inland Northwest. The summit empowers and motivates young men to excel in academics and social achievement. Participants will acquire tools for personal development, confidence, and academic success.
Theme
The theme for this year’s Young Men + Summit is Beyond Our Masks … Into Our Tasks, which means to remove our masks, to value ourselves and each other, and to engage in social justice, personal development, and education.
The Young Men + Summit serves as a brave space for critical dialogue on issues important to male youth: education, law enforcement, youth violence, the criminal justice system, restorative justice, identity development, and career pathways.
