SNAP is a local organization that provides a wide variety of services for those in low-income families and people with disabilities. Their purpose is to help provide a variety of opportunities that help raise the quality life and potential of families in the area. They offer classes and many other services that are open to everyone who is interested.
Samaritan’s Purse is a religiously affiliated organization whose goal is to provide international relief. This relief includes construction, health care, disaster relief, and basic human needs (food, hygiene products, and water). The goal of Samaritan’s Pursue is to be the helping hand when all hope seems lost.
The Post Falls Local Food Bank is a resource for those in the Post Falls area that are struggling to provide food for themselves and or their family. At this food bank, people are able to pick up food for free, or a small fraction of the price. Their mission statement is “to provide relief from poverty and hunger to those in need through a united community effort.”
The One* Church is a local nondenominational, nondiscriminatory religious organization. One Place partners with nonprofit organizations like the Children’s Village in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, in support of the betterment of mankind. The main purpose of the One Place Church, is the sharing of love through the teachings of Christ. One* associates do not force religion, they simply make themselves and their facility available to help those in need.
One Heart Global Ministries (OHGM) is a Christian based non-profit group started in 2010. Their mission is to meet the basic human needs of people in third world countries and to establish self-sustaining communities and church. This group provides many opportunities to do the work of “Gods People” by going on mission trips to Ecuador. Upon arrival, this group provide medical care, dental care, shoes, supplies, and education to the people living there.
