On November 15th we met up with the High School HOSA group at Ferris in Spokane. We invited inaugural EWU nursing students to show what Medical Assistants might do on the job. EWAHEC provided the following:
Blood pressure, height, weight, pulse oximeters, eye checks, and even injections (don’t worry- practice only!) The EWU nursing students show the kids how to do all of this and how being a MA could lead to a career in nursing!
