GenCyber Camp Information
Eastern Washington University will be offering a FREE GenCyber day camp for middle school students (rising into grades 6 – 8) in summer 2024.
Participants will explore the high demand and rapidly growing field of cybersecurity. They will learn through hands-on activities how cybersecurity professionals help protect information and information systems from unauthorized access, misuse, and destruction. Students will make valuable contacts with industry leaders in the field and will leave the camp with not only a rewarding experience, but also souvenirs, and a certificate of completion.
The camp is open to all participants. Preference may be given to young women, and American Indians.

Grades: Rising into grades 6 – 8
Dates: GenCyber Middle School Camp, July 8 – 12, 2024
