Q: Which events require tickets?
A:
- An Evening with Ada Limón, Laura Read, and Gabrielle Bates at the Bing Theater
- Craft Classes
- The Book Fair and Events Pass
Q: Does the Book Fair and Events Pass cover entry into all festival events?
A: No. The Book Fair and Events Pass does not grant you admission to other paid events including Saturday night’s headlining event with Ada Limón at the Bing, or any of the craft classes. This ticket gives you access to ALL the events happening at the festival hub, the Montvale Event Center from 9-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. There are 17+ events happening at The MEC over Saturday and Sunday including the festival Book Fair which is on the first floor of the Montvale Event Center. One ticket allows you to come and go to these events and the Book Fair.
Q: I’m a student and would like to attend the festival for free. How can I get tickets?
A: Email getlit@ewu using your student email and we will send you an access code to use to get your free student tickets.
Q: Are there any other events that require tickets?
A: No other events require tickets, however Pie & Whiskey is a paid event ($5) and is also 21+. This event is first-come-first-served and $5 is required at the door. Cash is preferred but cards will be accepted.
Q: What about parking at events?
A: Most of our events are downtown and so attendees will need to use paid parking meters or paid lots. Please check parking rules at each venue before arriving.
Q: I'm visiting from out of town, where should I stay and are they any discounts available?
A: We partner with the Montvale Hotel, Hotel Ruby, and the Steam Plant Hotel to offer attendees a 30% discount at any of those locations. Attendees can use code: ATTENDGETLIT to book online or when calling the front desk. Feel free to use these direct links which automatically apply the discount code:
