WHY SPOKANE?
The Pacific Northwest is a captivating region form which legends have sprung. One of these legends just so happens to be the city of Spokane. Along the banks of the Spokane River, multiple bands of the Spokane Tribe relied upon the abundant fishing grounds that they called the Spokane Falls. The name "Spokane" is derived from the Salish term meaning "Children of the Sun." Two centuries after this city was founded in 1881, Spokane has become a mixture of urban chic and outdoor adventures that has something for everyone.
