The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is one of the nation’s oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor societies. The name, Phi Kappa Phi, represents the Greek words forming its motto, Philosophía Krateítõ Phõtôn.
As a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi you will find support for continuing academic excellence and community engagement within the EWU chapter and also through the national organization’s approximately one million dollars awarded in scholarships each year.

How do I get in?
You will be invited to be apart of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi based on your academic excellence.
Who is invited?
Students who are in the top 7.5% of their junior class and top 10% of their senior class and first year graduate students will be invited.
When will I know?
Eastern Students who are eligible to join The Society are notified during each winter quarter.
How Do We Help?
Phi Kappa Phi awards nearly $1 million each year to qualifying students and members through study abroad grants, graduate fellowships, funding for post-baccalaureate development, member and chapter awards, and grants for local, national and international literacy initiatives.
