Moderate intensity physical activity is associated with better immune function. In addition to its positive effects on the immune system, physical activity also lessens stress and anxiety, both of which may be elevated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Do your body and mind a favor and get some physical activity. It doesn’t have to be 30+ minutes of consecutive activity. Every minute counts! Try a 5-minute walk break or a few minutes of stretching at your desk.
