Christopher Casserino, PhD
Director
Chris Casserino came to AHS as the Director in 2021. He holds a PhD degree in anthropology from the University of Oregon with a specialization in bioarchaeology. He has worked on projects in northwest Mexico and spent 10 years working in the greater Spokane area and mid-Columbia River region. In addition to archaeological work, he has extensive experience in the fields of museum exhibition and collection management, and medicolegal death investigation. He is a regular presenter at anthropological conferences and has authored dozens of archaeological reports.
