Campus Friends
Campus Friends have the opportunity to meet and share college life experiences with international students.Students who participate in this program are able to share various aspects of American life and culture, develop their cross-cultural communication skills, and enrich their university experience by getting to know someone from another country.
Classroom Volunteering
Classroom volunteers work with ESL students in pairs or groups and help students to complete class activities, learn new vocabulary, and practice pronunciation. They also act as an English language model, assisting the classroom teacher in modeling dialogs, expressions, and other presentations of language.
International Peer Advisors
International Peer Advisors (IPAs) coordinate and implement activities to facilitate international students’ interactions with other EWU students. They also support and assist students in the residence hall community, encourage student participation in campus activities.
