Chelan-Douglas Trends

From the east slope of the beautiful Cascade Mountains to the Shrub Steppe and wheat fields of the Waterville Plateau, Chelan and Douglas Counties are centrally locally between Seattle and Spokane. Where the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers converge, in the heart of wine, apple and wheat country, outdoor recreation abounds, with snowmobiling, skiing, boating and biking drawing tourists all four seasons to the region. Manufacturing, education, healthcare, recreational tourism, a fully electrified scenic highway, and agriculture provide sustenance for a quality of life that makes Chelan and Douglas Counties our North Central Washington home.
