Prerequisite Recommendations

100-199 Prerequisites

100-199 Courses Prerequisites are most likely related to meeting Pre-University Basic Skills and or Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning competency and English competency (MTHD 104 and ENGL 101).

200-299 Prerequisites

200-299 Courses Prerequisites may be related to completion of Intro courses, Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning competency (MTHD 104), and English competency (ENGL 101).

300-399 Prerequisites

300-399 Courses Prerequisites should allow the student to have a competent background in order to be successful in the course. It is suggested that if the course requires writing then ENGL 201 be a prerequisite, if the course requires Math then at least Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning be a prerequisite, and if the course is a requirement for a minor or major that a prerequisite be an introductory course to the subject. Additionally, class standing, such as junior standing, may be used as a prerequisite.

400-499 Prerequisites

400-499 Courses Prerequisites should allow the student to have a competent background in order to be successful in the course. It is suggested that if the course requires writing then ENGL 201 be a prerequisite, if the course requires Math then at least Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning be a prerequisite, and if the course is a requirement for a minor or major that a prerequisite be an introductory course to the subject. Additionally, class standing, such as senior standing, may be used as a prerequisite.
