To celebrate the opening of the recycle center on campus, the EWU Facilities and Planning Department will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, April 22 from 10-11 am on the northeast side of lot 12 next to Central Stores. Afterwards, come visit the Earth Day Fair in the campus mall. There will be water bottles and information on the bottle filling stations around campus, the second annual recycled art competition, campus clean-up scavenger hunt, and an ecological footprint assessment test. Many community members and partners will be joining as well with informational and educational tables to display their sustainable practices.
