The Army is a merit-based organization: Higher performance results in more rewards and opportunities. Additionally, Eastern Washington University ROTC goes an extra step in preparing and challenging our cadets.
The Expert Fighting Eagles Badge (EFEB) is awarded to cadets who distinguish themselves by demonstrating basic infantry skills. The EFEB was designed based off of the Expert Infantry Badge, which is awarded to Soldiers who also demonstrate infantry skills. These skills are the foundation of what our nation expects of our Soldiers and we prepare our cadets for the challenge!
