5th Group Special Forces Training

Night Ops

5th Special Forces Group (SFG) recently invited our cadets to conduct training with them at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Indiana. Cadets had the opportunity to conduct urban operations (such as clearing buildings), night insertion via helicopter, and deep clandestine operations in an austere environment. EWU ROTC has a reputation for excellence, and this training serves as a good example of the unique opportunities we provide to our cadets that excel as scholars, athletes, and leaders in our program.

Thank you to 5th Special Forces Group for inviting us. It provided cadets with a chance to better understand Special Forces and a potential career path in the future. Also, thank you to our cadre members like Captain Ebner for making this opportunity a reality and to give cadets an experience they'll never forget. #GoEags
