About

The Women’s and Gender Education Center has been part of the Women’s and Gender Studies program at Eastern Washington University since 1977. Today, we engage with students, staff, and faculty across campus through programs, events, and initiatives like the Activist in Residence Program, NEW Leadership, and the Contemporary Issues in Feminist Research series. We also promote gender equity and all forms of diversity through workshops and collaborations with community and university partners.

In addition to attending our events and programs, you are welcome to visit us to browse and check out books from our feminist library. Each quarter we have a gallery opening with a deejay and refreshments. You are also welcome to reserve the center for your own events.
