Who We Are
We are a student-run prototyping lab. Our ideation lab technicians have been through the Technology Commercialization Academy and have experience bringing ideas to tangible products. You can come in for:
· Product development/prototyping
· Participate in our quarterly events
· Equipment training
· Use our sound studio (additional approval required)
· Or just use our room as a place to study and brainstorm

Build and program robotic cars to race in the first Ideation Lab Robotics Grand Prix! Kits will include everything needed to build and program cars. Cars must be able to follow the black path; the team with the fastest time wins—sign-ups close on Nov 9 at 5 pm. To register, please fill out the form on Dr. Appel’s office door (CEB 338) before 5 pm on Nov 9.
Get a head start on the holidays at this Ideation Event! Come wrap your holiday gifts with the provided wrapping supplies at the Ideation Lab (CEB 125). Treats will be provided. This event will be open during open Ideation Lab (CEB 125) hours, from December 4 through 6. RSVP is appreciated to help estimate supply usage.

A classic popsicle stick-building competition! Kits to build bridges will be provided to the first 40 people to sign up. Competition on whose bridge will hold the most weight. Will creative youth or experience win? The competition will be held Nov 28 from 12 – 2 pm in the Ideation Lab (CEB 125).
