Eastern Washington University’s annual Chertok Lecture Series, headlined by Kathleen Belew, a professor at the University of Chicago, will take place virtually this year April 19-22.
The four part series will include a distinguished lecture from Belew on Monday, April 19; a panel of professors who will discuss challenging racism in the classroom on Tuesday, April 20; a panel of activists who will discuss overcoming racism in the community on Wednesday, April 21; and a discussion on Belew’s book, Bringing the War Home, on Thursday, April 22. The panels will begin each day at 1 p.m. and will be facilitated via Zoom.
