Activist in Residence (AiR) Workshops

 Join the Gender, Women’s & Sexuality Studies (GWSS) program for the 2026 Activist in Residence series.

GWSS is hosting five workshops, held on Mondays inside the WAGE Center lounge, Monroe Hall 207. All are free and open to the public.

  • Jan. 12, Monday | Feminist Theory to Practice | 3-4:30 p.m. |How engaging in social justice movements can lead us to personal and collective transformation.
  •  Jan. 26, Monday: Desde fronteras: An intersectional look across immigration, immigration enforcement and Latino/x/e identity
  • Feb. 9, Monday: In a post-Roe world: The changing landscape of reproductive health care
  • Feb. 23, Monday: En solidaridad: Finding your community and sustaining yourself as an activist
  • March 2, Monday: Collective Power across Eastern Washington panel discussion. Join community activists to learn about their lives and work.
