EWU is saddened to report that Robert (Bob) Herold, professor emeritus, passed away on Nov. 12. Herold retired from EWU in 2009 after serving the university for 40 years in his role in the Government Department.

Our Eastern community was saddened to learn that Joanne Craner (Charlton) passed away on Oct. 16, 2022.  Joanne retired as manager of the EWU Bookstore on July 1, 1995 after 24 years of service to the university. 

EWU is saddened to share that William Barber, emeritus faculty  in the Psychology Department, passed away on Aug. 31. Barber started working at EWU in 1969 and then retired in 1999, after 30 years of service to the university. Services will be held at a later date.
