The Eastern community was saddened to learn that Tom McCracken passed away on June 30.  Tom served in Custodial Services for 31 years before retiring in 2018.

The Eastern community was saddened to learn of John Brooks passing on July 5.  John served in the Sports and Recreation Department for 34 years and retired in 2012.

We are saddened to report the passing of Patricia (Pat) Terrell on May 6, 2022.  Pat retired from the University’s Records and Registration office in August 1, 2018 after 18 years of service to the university.

Eastern is saddened to report that Vic Wallace, an EWU retiree, passed away on Jan. 28, 2022. Wallace joined EWU’s University Police in 1974, and rose through the ranks to become its Chief of Police. He retired after 21 years of service.  A private family service will be held at 12:30 … Read more
