The campus community and the public are invited to the 22nd annual Student Research and Creative Works Symposium this week. Dozens of presentations are scheduled for May 14 and 15.
Students will showcase their academic accomplishments, explore the research of their peers and interact with students and faculty across all disciplines. All students were encouraged to showcase what they’ve learned through their studies.
The student research and creative works sessions are free to attend and open to the public.
The creative works presentations and performances are Tuesday evening, May 14, in the Fine Arts Building. Appetizers and drinks will be provided for presenters and their guests.
The student research sessions are Wednesday, May 15, in Senior Hall and Hargreaves Hall. Students will demonstrate their undergraduate or graduate level research, in coordination with faculty members, with poster displays and oral presentations. Light refreshments will be provided.
The two-day event will end with a keynote presentation in the PUB. Speakers include EWU President Mary Cullinan and keynote speaker Chase Ogden, a multi-award-winning filmmaker and professor of film at EWU. Join them at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, in the PUB’s Nysether Community Room.
