The campus community is invited to take part in a public forum April 16 to meet a finalist for the position of Vice President of University Advancement and Executive Director of the EWU Foundation.
After a nationwide search that produced experienced applicants from institutions across the country, I am pleased to announce Barb Richey as a finalist for the position – Vice President of University Advancement & Executive Director of the Foundation.
Richey was chosen from among five individuals interviewed by the search committee. She will meet with campus constituent groups and take part in an open forum before the selection process is complete.
Barb Richey currently serves as Vice President of Marketing for STCU. Prior to joining the STCU staff, Richey rose from Director of Development to Associate Vice President for Advancement during eight years at her alma mater, Eastern Washington University (1999 to 2007). She later served as Associate Vice President for Marketing & Communications at Pacific University (2007 to 2010).
The public forum is set for 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, on the Cheney campus in Showalter 109.
