EWU students have a chance this week to explore exciting and innovative strategies forming in a variety of fields. Seasoned professionals will share new business advancements and strategies at the SOAR Career Conference, Thursday, May 16, in the PUB.
During the day-long series of breakout discussions and keynote presentations, students will experience new professional development opportunities and be exposed to a variety of industry insights.
Keynote speakers include two business professionals at the top of their industries.
Greg Green, CEO of Fatbeam, will provide the morning keynote on the topic, Entrepreneurship and Effective Leadership in 2019. Green has more than 20 years of senior management experience in the telecommunications sector. He co-founded Fatbeam, an Inland Northwest company providing fiber-based network solutions to businesses.
The afternoon keynote will come from Rich Denenny, president and CFO of Lee & Hayes, P.C. He will speak on the subject, Spokane’s Growing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. An attorney in Spokane, Denenny counsels entrepreneurs and companies through a wide array of transactions.
The break-out sessions include several interesting topics as well, including cyber security on the Cloud, Amazon operations, and engineering a tunnel at the Mud Mountain Dam near Enumclaw, Washington.
