Winning some cool Eastern swag at Hoopfest could be as easy as taking a selfie.
As an official Hoopfest sponsor, EWU will represent at the basketball tournament this year with some fun, new components––including a selfie contest.
Every Hoopfest team will receive an EWU Team Selfie-Gram Contest sign in their packet at check-in. To enter the contest, all you have to do is write your team name in the space provided on the sign, take a team selfie with the sign, then share your best shot using the hashtag #Hoopfest2019 on Instagram.

In addition to sponsoring the selfie contest, EWU is also the official sponsor of this year’s Hoopfest Digital Street Team. Volunteers from EWU and 1-Stop Media will be out capturing the excitement of the world’s largest 3-on-3 outdoor basketball tournament and posting it on Spokane Hoopfest’s social media accounts. Save some of your best shots––basketball and photo––for our team taking photos and videos.
And when you share your own photos and videos on social media, help us make Hoopfest trend online by using the official Hoopfest hashtag, #Hoopfest2019.
If you’re heading down to watch the action, be sure to wear your EWU apparel. Our team of volunteers will be handing out Eagle swag on-the-spot to people showing their Eastern spirit. All court monitors will also receive free Eag gear. You’ll see them beating the heat with EWU neck coolers.
